NO LESS THAN ISADORA
Colors
deepen in August--
The gray-green bay in evening,
The red brick phalic smokestack,
One third in shadow, two thirds glowing,
Ships multi-hued in dry dock,
The light waning,
Even Isadora Duncan
Proclaimed autumn the most sensual
season.
It must be the altered angle of the sun's
rays.
Long before the rains will come,
Colors deepen in August.
Only the waxing moon remains the same.
